Canada defeats USA 2-1 in the Gold Medal Game at the Pan AM games in Mexico. Andrew Albers (North Battleford) was the starting and winning pitcher and went 6.1 innings while striking out 8 batters!
Baseball Canada announced the preliminary roster of players that will travel to St. Petersburg, FL in March as part of the Junior National Team’s Spring Training Alumni Week.
Nobody has had a greater impact on Yorkton Minor Baseball than Wade Karcha. One of the founding fathers of the association, Wade has spent 14 years volunteering his time to make Yorkton Minor Baseball one of the finest organizations in Saskatchewan.
Zack Demchenko (Saskatoon, SK) turned in a dominant performance on the mound as the Saskatoon Braves won bronze with a 6-1 win over Winnipeg South.
The Pacers won the title in Winnipeg, defeating the Vancouver Mounties 3-2 in the championship game.
Congratulations to the Midget AA Swift Current Indians for winning the silver medal at the AA Minor Western Canada Baseball Championship held in Morden, Manitoba.
Congratulations to Team Saskatchewan who proved the critics wrong by winning a SILVER medal at the 2011 Baseball Canada Cup held in Moncton, NB.
Cory Hall (Santa Clara D1) baseball team was honored by the West Coast conference for his play this season on Wednesday. A senior RHP Cory Hall, was named to the 2011 All-West Coast Conference First Team. Hall (4-7; 3.26 ERA)...
